Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 February 2026

1. Service Scope

QuickBrief provides sanctions-source delta monitoring, structured brief generation, review workflow tracking, watchlist screening with deterministic matching, and evidence export.

Customer-visible audit trail is limited to compliance evidence events. Internal operational logs are retained separately for reliability/support and are not presented as customer evidence records.

QuickBrief is not a transaction-monitoring system and does not provide legal advice.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for activity under your organization account. Access controls are enforced per organization.

3. Billing and Subscription

Pricing, trial period, and plan availability are shown in-product and may vary by environment. Billing is processed by Stripe. You can cancel according to the active billing terms visible at checkout and in billing settings.

4. Data and Privacy

You keep ownership of data you submit. You grant QuickBrief a limited license to store and process that data to operate the service. Privacy terms are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Use the service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Review and validate outputs before making legal or regulatory decisions
  • Avoid uploading unlawful or unauthorized third-party data

6. Warranties and Liability

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that upstream source data is always error-free. You remain responsible for compliance decisions and regulatory submissions.

7. Email Delivery and Source Availability

Alert emails are best-effort and can be delayed or blocked by downstream mail systems. Upstream sanctions sources may also be unavailable or delayed; this does not guarantee uninterrupted ingestion for every source at all times.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Updated terms will be published in-product with a revised date. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
